- Make sure you have the latest version of the
free Adobe
Acrobat Reader.
- Locate a PDF (Portable Document Format) document
on the CD
- Double click on the selected title
- Use the Adobe toolbar that appears in your browser
to navigate in the PDF document.

do I print a PDF document?
Available printing options vary with different printers and drivers.
For example, not all printer drivers allow two-up printing (printing
two pages on one side of the paper).
- Make sure you have the latest version of the
free Adobe
Acrobat Reader.
- Click the Print button,
or choose Print from the File
menu.
- Specify the printer, page range, number of copies,
and other options. Your Print dialog box may provide a Set Up,
Properties, or Options button that allows you to specify other
printing options.
Optional: If your printer driver allows two-up printing:
a) For PCs: Choose 2 up in the Layout
section of the Paper tab and click
OK.
b) For Macs: Choose 2 Up from the Layout
menu and click OK.
- Click OK.

How do I copy
text from a PDF document?
Note: Not all PDF documents allow you
to copy text.
Some PDF documents will let you select and copy text and paste
it into a document in another application, such as a word processor.
- Make sure you have the latest version of the
free Adobe
Acrobat Reader.
- Click and hold the cursor on the Text
Select Tool
on the Acrobat Reader toolbar.
- Drag the cursor onto the Text
Select Tool
from the button's drop down options and release the mouse button.
- Highlight the text you want to copy.
- Copy the selected text or graphic to the
Clipboard:
- If you copy using your web browser, click
Copy.
- If you copy using Adobe Acrobat Reader, choose
Copy from the Edit
menu.
- Switch to the application where you want to paste
the copied text.
- Position your cursor where you want to paste
the copied text .
- Click Paste.

do I copy graphics from a PDF document?
Note: Not all PDF documents allow you to
copy graphics.
Some PDF documents will let you select and copy a graphic and paste
it into a document in another application, such as a word processor
or graphic application.
- Make sure you have the latest version of the
free Adobe
Acrobat Reader.
- Click and hold the cursor on the Text
Select Tool
on the Acrobat Reader toolbar.
- Drag the cursor over the Graphics
Select Tool
and release the mouse button.
- To select the graphic you want to copy, position
the crosshairs cursor at the top left corner of the graphic
and drag the cursor to the bottom right corner of the graphic
to draw a selection box around the graphic.
- Copy the selected text or graphic to the
Clipboard:
- If you copy using your web browser, click
Copy.
- If you copy using Adobe Acrobat Reader, choose
Copy from the Edit
menu.
- Switch to the application where you want to paste
the copied graphic.
- Position your cursor where you want to paste
the copied grahic.
- Click Paste.
